Balgove Larder is on the outskirts of St. Andrews in the midst of beautiful, extensive farmland and is a butcher, farm shop, café and restaurant all rolled into one. An old converted barn filled with wooden boxes, wooden beams and a fire pit. The building exudes a rustic charm that perfectly complements its old-fashioned, rural setting. Balgove Larder's focus is on a farm-to-table approach to food, with all of its products sourced locally. The cafe is open all year round and serves delicious breakfasts and a variety of light lunches such as sandwiches and soups. The Steak Barn restaurant is open from April to October and offers hearty meals made with meat from their own butcher's shop.
