What is displacement acceleration

Components for acceleration, displacement, reaction, rotation, rotational acceleration, rotational speed or velocity
If you selected Acceleration, Displacement, Reaction, Rotation, Rotation Acceleration, Rotation Velocity, or Velocity from the Quantity drop-down list, the drop-down shows - Component list shows the components that are available for the selected measured variable. You can use this drop-down list to refine the definition of the measured variable even further. The options available in the list box vary depending on the combination of design study, representation type, and size selected.
The following options may appear in the Component drop-down list when you select Acceleration, Displacement, Reaction, Rotation, Rotation Acceleration, Rotation Velocity, or Velocity (Velocity) selected:
• Magnitude - The magnitude of the rotation vector. This option corresponds to selecting all three components. The "Amount" option is not available for the "Response" metric.
• X - The size in the x-direction or around the x-axis. X is not available for all 2D models for the measured variables "reaction torque", "rotation", "rotational acceleration" and "rotational speed".
• Y - The size in the y-direction or around the y-axis. Y is not available for models of the type "2D Plane Strain State" and 2D axis symmetry. Y is not available for all 2D models for "Reaction Moment", "Rotation", "Rotational Acceleration", and "Rotational Speed".
• Z - The size in the z-direction or about the z-axis. Z is not available for 2D models.
If you change the coordinate system type to display your results, the directional components in the Component drop-down list adjust accordingly. For example, if you switch from a Cartesian coordinate system to a cylindrical coordinate system, the labels change from X, Y, and Z to R, T, and Z.
