Parent education specific to autism

Do you also often feel that parenting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a particular challenge? Does your family life occasionally go haywire? Do you feel left alone in your situation?

Are you looking for specific assistance that cannot be provided by a single therapeutic model or pedagogical approach?

The working group pro perception APW would like to support you with a special offer in the challenges of your everyday life. The course is aimed at parents of a child with an autism spectrum disorder and offers you a form of further training that is tailored to your particular family situation. Concrete aids for everyday family life are jointly developed on the basis of various therapy and support approaches.

In the course of the parenting course, the focus is on the individual situation of each family. Together with you, the course management plans alternative action and communication strategies that you as a family can adopt in your everyday life. A practical week serves as a practice field and the mutual exchange between the families. The transfer into your everyday life is accompanied by a voluntary visit to a follow-up offer.
